Itasca County Family YMCA
WeeFolks Childcare Center
The YMCA has a rich history of providing childcare to the children of Itasca County. Since 1982 when the WeeFolks Preschool rented space in the YMCA building, the preschool has expanded to encompass many new childcare programs. From infant care to summer day camp, the YMCA has been helping children and families grow stronger in spirit, mind and body.
Our childcare programs are state-licensed and provide learning through play, field trips, intergenerational activities, swimming lessons, gym time, and outdoor play. The WeeFolks staff are trained in positive behavior guidance and place an emphasis on developing physical, social, emotianal and intellectual selves.
