Youth Swimming Lessons

Our swim lessons help adults, parents, and kids who want to learn a life skill by increasing their knowledge, ability, and stamina to build smart, strong swimmers and confident kids.

  • At the Y, we believe swimming is a life skill.
  • The Y has more than 110 years of experience teaching people to swim.
  • We have certified, caring staff trained to handle swimmers of all abilities and all ages.
  • Y swim lessons stress positive values and give kids the opportunity to practice them, growing kids’ self-esteem and self-worth, while they have a great time.
  • The Y’s mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
  • Program fee assistance is available to those who qualify.
  • Our approach differs because we use skill-based instruction that maximizes physical activity, emphasizes safety, and elevates character development to engage families in our community.
