Memberships may be purchased at the Membership Desk at the YMCA at anytime the YMCA building is open.

 

There are two types of memberships at the Itasca County Family YMCA:

General Membership benefits include:

Swimming pool with family whirlpool and Sauna

Fitness and water exercise classes

Indoor and outdoor walking/running tracks

Racquetball courts

Free Babysitting (during designated hours)

Gymnasium

Health and Fitness Center

Reduced fees on swim lessons

Reduced fees on youth sports

Racquetball lessons

Use of racquetball, basketball, and weightlifting equipment

 

PLUS Membership benefits include:

All of the above privileges plus:

Private locker room facilities with private sauna

Towel service

Phone and lounge area

Permanent kit locker available for continuous or annual memberships

 

Membership Categories

Youth                                        Children under 14 years of age

Teen                                         Youth between 14 and 19

College                                     Students who carry 12 or more credits  (must show verification)

Adult                                          Over 19 years of age

Adult Plus                                 One adult with PLUS membership

Family                                      Married husband and wife with their dependant children

Family with PL1                     Family membership where one adult is a PLUS member

Family with PL2                     Family membership where two adults are PLUS members

Membership Assistance:

No one will be denied access to our memberships or programs due to an inability to pay.  Membership Assistance applications and information is available at the YMCA Membership Desk.  Membership assistance is made possible in part by funding from the Blandin Foundation, the Carole Rajala Memorial Fund and in part by our YMCA Strong Kids Campaign—funded by people like you!
