Youth Center

The YMCA Youth Center is a drop-in center where youth ages 8-18 can go to relax with friends, play games, shoot pool and more —  all for free!  A YMCA staff supervises the Center.  No membership is required.

Youth Center Winter Hours:  Monday through Friday:  3:30-8:30pm

Youth Center Summer Hours:  Monday through Thursday 3:30-7:30pm

After School Tutoring Program

The Itasca County Family YMCA has partnered with the Americorps to create an after-school tutoring program for students ages, 8-18.  Starting October 1, the YMCA will have staff and volunteers on hand who will be available to assist students with their homework, take-home projects and study materials.  The YMCA Tutoring Center will be open Monday-Thursday, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. of each week when school is in session.  No scheduling is required; students may drop in at any time.  Most importantly, the cost for students to attend is FREE!
